Rebekka Putnam, the sole proprietor, is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, recognized by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
She received her BA in psychology from California State University Northridge in 1993. She worked as a teacher and counselor in a residential treatment center for adolescents in Los Angeles from 1993-1999. In 1998, Rebekka earned her certification in clinical hypnotherapy from Curentur University in Los Angeles. Though a comprehensive curriculum and the brilliant instruction of John Zulli and Timothy Trujillo, she trained in Gil Boyne’s Transforming Therapy and Ormond McGill’s Quantum Hypnosis. Rebekka also has special certification in the symptom relief of Fibromyalgia and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She continues her education through conferences and specialized workshops.
Rebekka has over 10 years of experience coaching and mentoring those who have been affected by addictive patterns, their own or someone else’s. She also serves as a relief hypnotherapist at Passages Malibu, an alcohol and drug treatment center. Through hypnotherapy, active listening, and suggested action steps, she assists her clients in setting and achieving their potential, bringing in their true success.

Hypnotherapy is a self-regulated profession and does not qualify for State licensing. The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners is a professional organization, chartered by the State of California, to establish training standards, standards of professional practice, and a code of ethics. The ACHE's Ethics Committee can suspend or revoke certification. Certification is awarded to those who attend state licensed schools, with state approved hypnotherapy instructors. Although the state does not regulate curriculum or a required number of hours of training, ACHE has the highest requirements for certification of any major Hypnotherapy organization in the USA. The ACHE logo is the Hallmark of Quality for the Hypnotherapy profession. Be sure to look for it.
